Cross Road Tack Shop opened St. Patrick’s Day in 1998. Dorothy and Stephanie Gernert, mother and daughter, began the shop on their farm to serve the needs of a growing horse community. Beginning with consignment items proved to be very popular with 4-H and lesson kids and their parents. Those gently used items, as well as new merchandise, are still in abundance. Browsing what has recently arrived is a great reason to visit the shop often.

All disciplines have their unique needs, so the shop carries a wide array of goods for the horse as well as the rider. Being greeted by corgis, swapping horse stories, and getting friendly advice make shopping here a very personal experience.
